New Blog, and Final Fantasy X HD

Well, my Google+ account isn't the same Google Account as my Blogger account =/ Which was irritating on many levels, so I scrapped my old blog (again) and here we are on Blog #3. So, to recap we have 1) Forgotten password, 2) Stupid separate account.

And next, I want to talk about the Final Fantasy series. I've been a big fan since the early 2000s, when I got my first console, a PlayStation 2, and with it a copy of Final Fantasy X. Since then, I've played X-2, XII and XIII, just started IV, and also have VII, Crisis Core and VIII ready and waiting on my PSP. I intend to get I, II, III, V, VI and IX while I can off PlayStation Network and on the DS, but I'm not getting XI and XIV as I just don't do MMOs :P I also want to try Dirge of Cerberus, XIII-2, Versus XIII and Type-0.

But anyway, I'm getting away from the point that I'm so hyped for Final Fantasy X's HD port onto PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita, and I for one will be getting it on Day 1. I'm curious however as to which version it will be?

Being remade for PS3 and Vita for the 10th Anniversary of this fantastic game, which back in 2001 scored  91.84% off GameRankings, 92/100 off Metacritic and 9.5/10 off IGN.

Will it be regular Final Fantasy X or the International/PAL version (the one I had) with the Dark Aeons and Penance boss battles? And will X-2 be part of the parcel? I know it wasn't a very popular game, but it's still part of the story of Final Fantasy X and I would very much like a "Complete Collection" like they have done with Final Fantasy IV.

I'm looking forward to seeing all my favourite characters re-rendered in HD. Tidus, Auron, Kimahri, Lulu, but the star of the game... the Summoner Yuna :)

In Final Fantasy X, the Summoner Yuna was quiet, reserved and cute :) She fought tirelessly for the people of Spira, and her efforts paid off in the end of the game. Sadly, however, she could not be with her love Tidus, as he was just a dream of the spirits of the Fayth.
Two years later, in Final Fantasy X-2 (2004), Yuna's become hot!! With the aeons no longer in existance, she could no longer summon, so she laid down her staff and instead picked up a pair of smokin' hot pistols, the Tiny Bees. Changing class with her outfits, Yuna could now be a Warrior, Black Mage, Songstress, even a dog trainer with the press of a button! Seeing an image of a Tidus-lookalike in a movie sphere, she sets out on a quest to find her lost love, with her cousin Rikku and friend Paine- together known as the Gullwings, and stumbles upon a great threat to Spira that, yet again, only Yuna can prevent.
